Park Gate Community Day is celebrating its 16th year of operation on Saturday, September 12th at the Park Gate Shopping Plaza from 11am – 2pm and we will be hosting a table there, so come check us out and get a free nail trim for your pet along with a free package full of goodies and valuable information crucial to your pets health!
Park Gate Community Day, formerly known as Park Gate Family Day, is an event hosted annually by the Park Gate Community Services Society and North Vancouver Recreation and Culture that includes tons of FREE family friendly fun activities. It is meant to highlight the programs and services offered at Parkgate, and celebrates the many contributions of the Seymour community that make them possible. Every year more than 3,000 people of all ages attend this event! There will be an indoor play area with tumbling equipment and a climbing wall for the kids in the gym, as well as an Art Gallery featuring local artists and potters, in the Park Gate lobby. Outside is the Park Gate Main Stage that will be featuring local talent, and the Park Gate Plaza will be hosting the Mt. Seymour Lion’s BBQ at the North Vancouver Library. Be sure to bring the family and check out all the cool stuff, and pop by for a visit, we’ll be there among the other Merchant and Community Tables highlighting local not-for-profits and associations doing work in our community.
